Growing seedlings and finding a place for a positive poster October 5th 2023

Last week we had four different student group with each one planting two trays of either seed or seedlings. This is what they looked like today.

I suppose I shouldn't have been too surprised given the good growing weather. This morning we were able to plant out two trays of the largest (bean) seedlings on a bed in the Suryan garden.

Tomorrow we are planning to make a start on the ladies finger seedlings

I intend to send a picture of this to the school so they can see the results of their work.

One of the other things we did this morning was to find a place for our poster about not smoking or drinking.

After trying several places, we thought that this place, which is just where people come in, gives it the prominence it needs

The poster says; 'clear head, clear lungs, substance free zone'. Which we think is a more positive way of saying 'no drinking and no smoking'.
